These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the ICT Academy Portal web application operated by the ICT Academy of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). By accessing or using the portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of the Philippines.
User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate registration information and keep your profile details up to date at all times.
- Safeguard your account credentials and notify the ICT Academy immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected compromise.
- Use the portal solely for legitimate training, capacity development, and administrative purposes aligned with ICT Academy programs.
- Ensure that any documents uploaded through the portal are complete, lawful, and free from malicious content.
Acceptable Use and Restrictions
You agree not to misuse the portal or engage in activities that may disrupt services, compromise information security, or infringe on the rights of other users. Prohibited activities include attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, distributing malware, reverse engineering application components, performing automated scraping without written authorization, or using the portal for commercial solicitation unrelated to ICT Academy initiatives.
Training Content and Attendance
Course information, schedules, and learning materials made available through ICT Academy Portal are curated to support the digital upskilling mandate of the DICT. While we strive to maintain accurate and timely content, program details may change without prior notice due to resource availability or policy updates. Participants are expected to comply with training prerequisites, attendance guidelines, and certification requirements communicated by program coordinators.
Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, service marks, and proprietary content contained in the portal remain the property of the ICT Academy or their respective owners. You may download or print materials for personal learning and official engagements, provided that copyright and attribution notices are preserved. Any redistribution or commercial exploitation of portal content requires prior written consent from the ICT Academy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The portal and its content are provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While security controls and quality assurance processes are in place, the ICT Academy does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or freedom from harmful components. Users assume all risks associated with the use of the portal.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the ICT Academy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the portal, including but not limited to loss of data, program delays, or reputational harm. This limitation applies even if the ICT Academy has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Compliance and Cooperation
